What Is Cabin Upgrade?
Cabin Upgrade is an ancillary service that allows passengers holding a confirmed Economy Class ticket to upgrade to Business Class on eligible Air Peace flights, subject to seat availability.
Upgrades are available on:
- International routes (including Lagos–London and Abuja–London/London-Abuja/Lagos).
- Domestic and regional routes (miles-based upgrades)

Cabin Upgrade FAQs
Cabin Upgrade allows passengers with a confirmed Economy Class ticket to upgrade to Business Class for a fee and enjoy the full Business Class experience on the upgraded sector(s).
- On our international routes (Lagos-London Gatwick, London Gatwick-Lagos, Abuja-London Gatwick, London Gatwick-Abuja, Abuja-London Heathrow, and London Heathrow-Abuja), the upgrade starts from £500 one-way or 120,000 miles (frequent flyer points). Pricing is dynamic based on seat availability. You can choose to pay entirely with frequent flyer miles or entirely with monetary currency. You cannot combine monetary currency and miles.
- On domestic and regional flights, upgrades are available using miles only, starting at 30,000 and 80,000 miles for domestic and regional flights, respectively. Passengers wishing to upgrade their domestic and regional flights using monetary currency should do so by rescheduling their flights to business class and paying the applicable difference in fare.
You will enjoy all standard Business Class benefits. On our London routes, these include:
- 2x32kg checked baggage allowance (overrides previous 2x23kg)

On our regional and domestic routes, passengers will get business class benefits obtainable on such regional and domestic flights, including baggage allowance.

You can buy it on our website (the Manage Booking section) or through our staff/agent portals. It is currently not available at the airport or via the call centre.
On the London routes, the price starts at £500 one-way and increases dynamically based on real-time Business Class seat availability and demand. Upgrades using miles are also possible and cost 120,000, 80,000 and 30,000 miles on international, regional and domestic routes, respectively. Combining miles and monetary currency is not permitted.
- Children (2–11 years) pay the full adult upgrade fare or miles.
- Infants (under 2 years, without a separate seat) pay 10% of the displayed adult upgrade fare or miles.
The upgrade fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, you will receive a full refund if:
- The flight is cancelled, or
- We are unable to provide the Business Class seat (involuntary downgrade).
You are eligible if you meet all of the following conditions:
- You hold a confirmed (not waitlisted or standby) Economy Class ticket on a flight operated by Air Peace.
- Your booking is an individual booking (group bookings are not eligible unless split and processed individually).
- Your ticket is in an eligible economy booking class (most published Economy fares qualify; some deeply discounted promotional, staff, or award tickets may be excluded).
- You are travelling on a single-sector (point-to-point) Upgrades on connecting itineraries must be purchased separately for each sector.
- You have no unpaid airport taxes or outstanding amounts on the booking.
- You meet all visa, health, and regulatory entry requirements for the destination (same as Business Class passengers).
The following are generally not eligible:
- Award tickets (redeemed with miles/points)
- Industry/staff discount tickets (ID/AD/ZED)
- Some deeply discounted or consolidated bulk fares (specific classes will be blocked in the system). If your booking class is ineligible, the upgrade option will not appear.

Yes. The accompanying adult can upgrade, and children/infants can be upgraded at the applicable child/infant rate. However, if the adult does not upgrade, the child/infant cannot be upgraded alone.

No. Cabin Upgrade is only available for point-to-point (single sector) flights. Each sector must be upgraded separately if desired.
No. You must have a confirmed Economy Class seat to be eligible.
Group bookings are not eligible unless each passenger is processed individually (i.e., the booking is split).
Seats are allocated operationally. While we try to accommodate preferences, we cannot guarantee any specific seat. In case of overbooking in Business Class, priority is given based on original fare class and upgrade timing.
If we cannot provide a Business Class seat after you have paid, you will remain in Economy and receive a full refund of the upgrade fee.
No. Miles and tier points will be credited based on the original Economy Class ticket and fare rules (not the Business Class rules).
Yes, we reserve the right to modify fares, suspend, or discontinue the Cabin Upgrade program at any time, especially in case of unforeseen operational or commercial circumstances.
